Happily I was wrong, I adored this book. The prose is sublimely poetic though the subject matter is hard and, at times, harrowing/5(15). Ripley Bogle is the kind of novel you’ll appreciate having read and, I dare say, you may became an evangelist for it yourself one day: “Wait, wait,” you’ll say.
